golf fitness training
Move Better. Swing Better. Play Longer.
As a TPI Certified Golf Fitness Level 1 & 2 Coach, I design golf-specific training programs around how your body moves and the physical demands of your golf swing.
We start by identifying limitations in mobility, stability, strength, balance, and power that may be affecting your performance.
Your program may focus on:
• Improving hip and thoracic mobility
• Building strength and stability
• Developing rotational power and speed
• Improving balance and movement control
• Supporting better durability and injury prevention
• Increasing your physical capacity to generate clubhead speed
Golf fitness clients also receive access to my custom training app with:
• Golf-specific workouts
• Mobility and recovery routines
• Practice drills based on your individual needs
• Progress tracking to measure improvement
Whether you're new to golf or an experienced player, the goal is simple:
Build a stronger, more capable body for the way you want to play golf.
Train smarter. Swing better. Play longer.
-
Golf fitness is physical training designed to improve how your body moves and performs during the golf swing.
Your program may focus on:
Mobility for a more efficient swing
Stability for improved balance and control
Strength to support your body throughout the round
Power to increase speed and distance
Injury prevention for greater longevity in the game
Training is customized around your body, your physical limitations, and your golf-performance goals.
-
Golf fitness is beneficial for golfers of all skill levels.
You don’t need to be a low-handicap golfer or competitive player. Training is based on how your body moves—not your golf score.
Your program can help improve:
Mobility and rotation
Strength and stability
Balance and coordination
Power and clubhead speed
Your ability to play comfortably and consistently
The goal is to help your body perform better so you can enjoy the game and continue playing for years to come.
-
No. Golf fitness and golf instruction serve different purposes—and work very well together.
A golf instructor helps improve your swing technique.
As a TPI Golf Fitness Professional, I focus on your body's ability to physically perform the movements your golf swing requires.
If limited mobility, strength, stability, or power is affecting your swing, your training program will target those physical limitations.
The goal isn't to teach you how to swing the club. It's to help give your body the physical capacity to execute your swing more efficiently.
-
Potentially, yes.
Increasing distance isn't just about swinging harder. Your ability to generate clubhead speed can be influenced by your strength, power, mobility, stability, and how effectively your body produces and transfers force.
Golf fitness training may include:
Lower-body and total-body strength
Rotational power
Core stability
Hip and thoracic mobility
Speed and power exercises
Your program is customized around your current physical abilities and golf-performance goals.
